Early lead gives SD SHOW 2000 victory over SD Legacy-Blue, 11-0

SD SHOW 2000 jumped out to an early lead on SD Legacy-Blue and captured an 11-0 victory on Saturday at Kit Carson #5.

Eight runs in the first three innings allowed SD SHOW 2000 to put the game away early. 

An RBI single by Jo Jo Graves, an RBI single by Maya M, and a sacrifice fly by Cassidy McCartney during the first inning and an RBI single by Maya Cota, a two-run single by Graves, and a two-run double by Maya M in the second inning helped SD SHOW 2000 put some runs on the board early. 

 

Maya M racked up five RBIs on three hits for SD SHOW 2000. 

 

 

SD SHOW 2000's Graves kept SD Legacy-Blue off the scoreboard for all four innings she was in the circle. She pitched a shutout, allowing no opposing players to cross the plate on three hits while ringing up three. 

 

#55 was charged with the loss. She allowed 11 runs in four innings, walked two and struck out none.

SD SHOW 2000 drops 8-0 game to FV Surge

SD SHOW 2000 fell 8-0 to FV Surge at Kit Carson #2 on Saturday.

 

#00 got the win for FV Surge. She tossed three innings of shutout ball. She struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit. 

FV Surge was sparked by #0 and #9, who teamed up for four hits and five RBIs. 

Jacqueline Kamery ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She allowed seven runs in 3 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out one. 

FV Surge never surrendered the lead after the first inning, scoring two runs on an RBI double by #0 and. 

FV Surge piled on six more runs in the top of the fourth. The inning got off to a hot start when #12 doubled, scoring #33. That was followed up by #9's single, plating #15 and #12.

Jo Jo Graves throws no-hitter as SD SHOW 2000 defeats Powersurge-Navu 4-0

Sunday was a day Jo Jo Graves will remember forever as Graves threw a no-hitter in SD SHOW 2000's 4-0 victory over Powersurge-Navu.

No Powersurge-Navu batter was able to locate Graves' pitches during the game. Graves threw a no-hitter, striking out four batters and walking one while recording her momentous feat. She got #9 to fly out for the final out of the game. 

 

Erin Gillum had three extra-base hits for SD SHOW 2000. She tripled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth innings. 

 

SD SHOW 2000 was sparked by Gillum and Paige Parkhill, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs. 

#90 ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just 3 2/3 innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs. 

The lead stayed with SD SHOW 2000 after the first, when it scored one run on a groundout by Daisy Letter

SD SHOW 2000 built upon its lead with two runs in the fifth. Gillum's double got things going, bringing home Cassidy McCartney and Hallee Coleman. That was followed up by Gillum's double, plating McCartney and Coleman.

SD SHOW 2000 falls to SoCal Breakers-Montano 7-2 in spite of Maya M's performance

Maya M went 1-2 and hit a home run, but SD SHOW 2000 still fell to SoCal Breakers-Montano 7-2 in four innings on Sunday at Kit Carson Field #3.

Two of SD SHOW 2000's runs were scored thanks to timely hitting by Maya M. She homered in the first inning. 

#18 got the win for SoCal Breakers-Montano. She allowed two runs over four innings. #18 struck out five, walked two and gave up two hits. 

SoCal Breakers-Montano was sparked by #77 and #39, who teamed up for two hits and two RBIs. 

Jo Jo Graves couldn't get it done on the rubber for SD SHOW 2000, taking a loss. She lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed three runs. 

In the top of the first, SD SHOW 2000 grabbed the early lead, 2-0. A two-run home run by Maya M, scoring Erin Gillum started the inning off. 

The lead stayed with SoCal Breakers-Montano after the first, when it scored four runs on an error and a two-run home run by #77. 

SoCal Breakers-Montano piled on three more runs in the bottom of the third. The inning got off to a hot start when #13 singled, bringing home #39 and #27.
